The princess diaries

Her Royal Highness, Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo, Crown Princess of Genovia: Mia is a vegetarian and animal-rights activist who cares deeply about the environment. In the 9th book she quits her vegetarianism because of all her problems, and she says that she doesn't care. She often laments her looks; she says she has triangular, "dishwater-blonde" or "mouse brown" hair, "a really big mouth and no breasts and feet that look like skis", and that at 5' 9" she is the tallest girl in her class, which she does not appreciate. According to her outspoken best friend Lilly Moscovitz, her "only attractive feature" is her grey eyes. Mia also says that she weighs five "Fat Louies", which translates to about one hundred and twenty pounds. Mia is, what she calls, the result of a "fling" her mother (Helen, a commoner) and father (Phillipe, Crown Prince of Genovia) had in college. Mia's mother and father never got married as Helen knew that she did not want to be a royal and live a life of public servitude, and so Mia's lived in her mother's loft with her all her life. The loft is in the Noho area of New York City. Then she finds out about where her family line comes from. And then is confronted wiht her new job. Being the princess of Genovia. This book is a real good read and i recomend the whole series to anyone who loves meg cabot.

Cirque Du Freak

The book written by darren shan is a great read. Darren Shan is a normal boy until his friend brought a flier advertising the Cirque du Freak, a traveling show which will be performing in his town. Darren and his friends pool their money together to buy the tickets, then sneaks out with Steve Leonard to see the show at an abandoned theater. They see many amazing and terrifying acts, including a man named Larten Crepsley, who performs with a venomous tarantula. Darren becomes obsessed with Madam Octa, Mr. Crepsely's tarantula, and he resolves to steal her. He sneaks into the abandoned theatre to take Madam Octa's cage. He than uses a flute to hipnotise her and telepathically comands her to do tricks. His sister Annie comes in, disrupting Darren's concentration and causing the spider to bite Steve, who is rendered comatose. Darren hides Madam Octa before calling his parents, claiming that he did not see what happened. Steve is hospitalized and appears unlikely to recover.Desperate for a cure, Darren returns to Mr. Crepsely and asks for help. The vampire agrees to give Steve the antidote, but only if Darren will become his assistant. I recomend this book for everyone who is intrested in vampires. WHICH IS SOON TO BECOME A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE!!!

Skinned

This book written by Robin Wasserman was an amazing read. Lia shouldn’t have been in the car in the first place. By doing a favor for her sister, she has changed her life forever. A one in a million chance. The navigation system in her car malfunctioned and she crashed head on with another car. Her body broken - her skin burning, Lia waited for help. Unfortunately, her body didn’t survive the trauma of the accident. However, her brain remained in tact. Lia wakes up several weeks later to find that she is alive. She has been downloaded into a new body. A body that isn’t flesh and blood, but circuits and wires covered by synthetic “skin.” Lia doesn’t want to be a skinner, a mech-head, a freak. She’d rather be dead. Instead she has to go through the indignity of learning the most basic of activities all over again. If you want to find out more about the book then just read it. I totally and 100% recommend this book.

I'd tell you I love you but then I'd have to kill you

This book written by Ally Carter was a great read. The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls’school -- that is, if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE, thelatest in chemical warfare in science; and students received extra credit forbreaking CIA codes computer class. So in truth, Gallagher Academy might claim tobe a school for geniuses -- but it’s really a school for spies. Cammie Morgan is a second generation Gallagher Girl, and by her sophomore year she’salready fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways (three of which involve a piece of uncooked spaghetti). But theone thing the Gallagher Academy hasn’t prepared her for is what to do when shefalls for an ordinary boy who thinks she’s an ordinary girl. As you can see this is a really strange book. But a love story none the less. The second book i own but have yet to read. And its called Cross my heart and hope to spy.
